DNA, the building block of all of life. If you are trying to explain a cause for a something that happened in distant past, you look at what is the current causation resulting in current results. Information always comes from an intelligent source. So while we are learning more and more on how the chemical processes at the cell level, we have no explanation where the information in the DNA comes from or the origin of this information.
